If you are a business or an entrepreneur on social media, you should definitely be using analytics. This is not a new concept, although, it may be new to you, as it is for me. Analytics will help you determine which platforms are getting the most foot traffic, which promotions are getting the most interactions, and which times and days people are viewing your content so you can be more effective with your post/advertisements.

This is an example of what analytics look like. As you can see, they tell you about new viewers, when they are most active, and about post interactions.
These insights will help you determine what content of yours is attracting your intended targeted audience(s), which are getting the most interactions, which are not working well, and when you should be posting to get the most views and interactions.
I just recently started using these for my Facebook Page, Jay Breeze Music, and it has been incredibly helpful in determining these types of questions. It has helped me with scheduling posts and the type of content I should be posting to get the best reaction from my audience. I suggest every business/entrepreneur should do the same.
